- I am a University Researcher of English at the University of Helsinki (since September 2023).
- I was previously a Postdoctoral Researcher in Communication Studies at the University of Vaasa (December 2020 – July 2023).
- I was a Visiting Scholar at Oxford Brookes University in April 2018.
- I have extensive experience in teaching English linguistics and communication studies.
- I participated in organizing the Languaging Crises conference at the University of Helsinki in March 2026, and am a member of the local organizing committee for the IPC20 conference in Helsinki (2027).
- In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful IT nerd husband and our three pets: two dogs, Mikke and Ässä, and a wonderfully temperamental Russian tortoise, Turbo.
- I love fashion, makeup and perfume, and am a hobbyist social media content creator.
